I have been taking my Animals to these people for several years, and I want to speak about a Doctor with this staff. his name is doctor coleman. He saw my Animals, and he a chance to give me a second opinion on my beautiful Doggie Lilly. He was out for the money plain and simple. The disrespect he showed to me, My Dog, was absolutely horrible. He should absolutely be ashamed of himself. He says that he is a vet who loves Animals. Let's be clear here, He loves what he gets for caring for Animals. My Dog was diagnosed with cancer, he put this Beautiful Doggie through all sorts of torment, because he said he could save my Dogs life, so I allowed him to do surgery to spare her life, What did he do then? All of her stiches came out, and instead of being compassionate and stitching her up at his cost because he made many many errors where She was concerned, he turned around and charged me an additional monies for stitching her back up. I absolutely to this day, regret the day that I have met dr. coleman, he is very money minded, and then when I could tell that my Doggie was suffering, he wanted to prolong her suffering more and more, just so he could get paid more for it. I would never ever step foot in this practice ever again. I blame dr, coleman for letting my Doggie down, and I think it was an absolute shame. He always told me how he loves dogs, and then he does this to my dog? And to this day, I still get bills, and it is not fair. Your vets should be more worried about hurting an Animal instead of worrying about the buck. Shameful, the totality of these people is money first, animal second. Shameful!. I would be super excited if they decided to close this place down. Because dr. coleman made mistakes, and he should have known better. So I would never recommend this place to anyone else, because at the end of the day the money is most important, and the animal isn't. They keep your dog on the hook just so they can be paid. If I was a vet, I would not ever want to keep something around just to have a nest egg, while coleman doesn't mind how he gets paid, and I think it is absolutely shameful, and horrible. He should do some soul searching so he never hurts another animal ever again, or ever puts them through such unnecessary treatment. I am disgusted, I am also sick about this whole ordeal. Daniel.
Took my dog in in an emergency situation. Staff was great and managed to get him in right away without an appointment. The doctor's bedside manner was excellent, and treatment was quick. Great people all around
I have been bringing my dogs here for over 30 years. I would not consider going anywhere else. The staff are all wonderful people who will go out of their way to help. I have had nothing but good experiences here.
We have been treated perfectly, the staff has been accommodating to their best abilities and has made times of grief so much easier. Our English bulldog has had the best care by Doc. Coleman! Our bulldog litter is perfect and are being sent home to their new families soon. Thank you so much!! See you soon!
I've been taking my dogs to Phelps Veterinary Hospital for 6 years, and the doctors have always been amazing. They've helped me through the final illnesses of two dogs who lived to be older than 14, and were very thoughtful in discussing the pros and cons (including expense) for treatment options for geriatric canines. My current dog has some challenging health issues, and they've worked hard to help me treat and monitor her condition, sending me to specialists when necessary, and helping me learn (and trusting me to do) home care when possible. I've also had a few ill strays and visitor's pets who became ill/injured when visiting the area, and Phelps has always been wonderful about letting me make appointments for them. On the whole, I find that they have a great team- doctors with complimentary expertise, personnel who are friendly and care deeply about animals' comfort, and an understanding that people with different financial situations may need different care options.
